The last, best small town in Southern California.
Fillmore's motto is more than words. Ask Sunset Magazine ! They named Fillmore one of "The West's Best Cities", an honor given to only 24 communities in the western U.S.
Fillmore, the last unspoiled small town in Southern California (just ask Hollywood; they film here constantly), is nestled in the heart of the Heritage Valley among lush citrus groves. Fillmore was founded over a hundred years ago beside a Southern Pacific railroad station, and it's still a "railroad" town!
Fillmore is located on Highway 126 and just 25 minutes from Ventura and the beautiful California gold coast. And 20 minutes from Newhall/Castaic and Magic Mountain amusement park. Andria Kidd Training Center and The Fillmore Equestrian Center are located ½ of a mile South of town off Highway 23 at 308 Chambersburg Road. Andria Kidd Training Center is fortunate to be located at a family oriented facility, situated on 44 ½ acres across the river from down town, the Fillmore Equestrian Center is owned and operated by Mr. Dylan Snow.
The Fillmore Equestrian Center is home to ETI Corral 126 and has monthly shows during the show season (April through October) and sponsors several trail rides and Bar-B-Ques during the year. The Fillmore Equestrian Center is home to the Fillmore Roping Club. Regular roping events are scheduled throughout the year. Jack Pot roping events bring in competitors from all over California. Trail riding along the Santa Clara river is incredible! Enjoy miles of natural, unspoiled trails. The Santa Clara river is on the migration fly-way for many species of birds and water fowl and is the natural habitat for many of California’s beautiful wildlife.
